Logbook Warranty & Logbook Servicing
As a consumer, you have the right to have your new car serviced by whomever you choose (logbook servicing), without that choice affecting the seller’s statutory warranty obligations. Steve Sorensen Mechanical works precisely to manufacturer’s specifications for new car logbook servicing, allowing you to maintain your new car warranty.
You get an independent warranty on parts and labour associated with your service. We cover our work for 6 months or 10,000km, and your statutory warranty remains unaffected.
General Warranty
We back labour for a period of 6 months or 10,000klm (whichever comes first) and parts at manufacturers or suppliers warranties unless otherwise stipulated.
Second-Hand Parts
Second-hand or reconditioned parts are warranted as per the supplier’s conditions.
In all instances we must be given the first chance of repair.
